Titanium is the best of metals used for body piercing jewelry because of its absolute resistance to body fluid attacks. it is 100% compatible with the human body, not producing allergic reactions, skin irritations or discoloration of any sort, making it the ideal metal for those with sensitive skin. Titanium comes in alloys, and depending on what else is used in the alloy they are classified to grades. So called commercial pure titanium contains just traces of other elements. Unlike some other companies on the market we sell only grade 5 titanium (polished to perfection) which is the most suitable for body piercings. It consists of 90% titanium (no nickel whatsoever!) and is three times stronger than commercial pure titanium. Its resistance to everyday wear is superior, and it will retain its form, finish, and details for a lifetime. |
